Love everything about autumn? Even the things that go bump in the night? To put a little spooky into your fall, look no further than Piney Acres Farm nestled on 73 acres just east of Geist.
Every Friday and Saturday throughout the month of October from dusk until 10 p.m. all that is creepy and frightful comes out from the dark recesses around the farm to play.
Legend has it that a demented doctor once inhabited the land and performed heinous acts on both town people and animals alike. However, his secret laboratory was never uncovered in all the times the local law enforcement searched the property, and the missing were never found. That was is until 2013, when his secret laboratory was accidentally uncovered by Piney Acres Farm employees clearing out the barn loft. The doctor’s unspeakable acts were finally uncovered, but with a price. Several of his “experiments” were accidentally freed from their prison into the night.
Beware as you stroll along the corn on a crisp October night, you may just come face to face with what became of the infamous doctor’s experiments. You may even hear his maniacal laugh on the wind as well, but remember no matter how hard you try, some things just can’t be unseen. If you’re feeling brave this October, come on out for a visit on Friday and Saturday nights.
