If you haven’t had the time to check out the new location with two names, Good Conduct and Miss Behavin Lounge just recently opened its doors in the heart of Broad Ripple and are eager to make sure you have a good time.

Located at 1001 Broad Ripple Avenue, owner David Prudhomme decided to transform the former 10-01 restaurant with a whole new concept with the help of consultants Mark Diaz and Michael Tipps.

“Originally, we weren’t going to remodel, but that changed quickly,” Prudhomme says. Along with consultants, he decided on two concepts that will deliver two different, but fun experiences.

Upstairs, there is Good Conduct which is a 21 and older dining area with a giant balcony and plenty of seating. There’s also a new menu that is perfect for sharing with a group of friends. They serve their unique take on American cuisine, while making sure to only use fresh ingredients.

“We try to put together unusual combinations while not making the food too expensive and off the wall,” says Managing Partner, Brian Mazurkiewicz. The owner’s favorite menu item is a bleu cheese stuffed burger called the Tipsy Burger.

Fresh is the theme that permeates through the menu, to the cocktails. All their signature cocktails are made with freshly squeezed juice. If you visit, I recommend the Elian G., which is made with fresh lime and strawberry mixed with Rum and simple syrup.

“Good Conduct is where you can start your night and where you’re on better behavior,” Prudhomme says. “Downstairs has the atmosphere that’s a little louder, with a live DJ where you can have a little more fun”.

When you’re done dining upstairs at Good Conduct, you can head downstairs to Good Conduct’s alter ego, Miss Behavin. It’s like a little speakeasy dive bar with an elegant long bar and intimate seating, with a dance floor in the middle. You’ll feel like a VIP with bottle service as well. Miss Behavin is definitely a place where anyone can let loose and have fun.

“It’s not a sports bar, you’re not going to be staring at a TV. It’s more a place you can come with your friends and enjoy the night,” Prudhomme says.

If you’re looking for a new place to check out in the Broad Ripple area, Good Conduct & Miss Behavin is located right on Broad Ripple Avenue, right next to the Monon Trail. Good Conduct is open Wednesday through Sunday and Miss Behavin opens for the weekend on Fridays and Saturdays. Check for hours and special events on their website at goodconductindy.com.
