As fall approaches, our Facebook feeds dissolve into never-ending memes about pumpkin spice, scarfs, Uggs and falling leaves, and our minds turn to planning Halloween parties and trick-or-treating. But if you’re part of a select group of radical folks, your mind has been on something far more festive for months.

Join the Broad Ripple Village Association and local village businesses for the “Broad Ripple Boo Bash” for a fun evening of trick-or-treating! Bring your little monster in their costume to the businesses displaying the “Trick or Treat” sign for a treat. Visit the BRVA for more details.

Broad Ripple Zombie Walk has become the heart of fall for many Broad Ripple residents as they take to the streets to raise canned food donations for Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. Now in its 11th year, it has been a great adventure to watch it turn from the canned food collection and solo flash mob into a family-friendly Carnival of the Undead along with a Family Zombie Feast. Plus, for those participants over the age of 21, there’s a Zombie Prom!

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before!

Visit the Facebook page for the Broad Ripple Zombie Walk for more information.
