Now with more information! The big spring fundraiser “Center Grove Rocks The Park” is Saturday, May 12th, from 9am to 7 pm at Center Grove Middle School Central. It is an all day battle of the bands and silent auction. All of these amazing bands are chldren ranging in age from 9 to 15 and most are Center Grove area residents. In addition, amazing food will be provided by The NY Slice food truck and Der Pretzel Wagon, our MC is Brooklyn NY resident and game show guru Jason Block and there will be fun for the entire community with all proceeds going to the Independence Park Fund.
The event is free and everyone attending receives 5 voting tickets for their favorite bands. Each ticket equals $1 and each band may fund raise (for their band) with each $1 counting as one vote.
Bands Performing: The M80s, No Direction, Silver From The Flames, Bright Darkness, Mission One Level Zero, Side Affect, South Six 5, Legit, Isle 5, Crash 21 and Duet Luke Frandsen and Kenzie Doyle. Event tee shirts will be sold along with markers for those who would like to get band autographs.
