Center Grove Community School Corporation (CGCSC) plans to sell property it owns along Olive Branch Road. The property spans approximately 12 acres on the south side of Olive Branch Road between Runyon Road to the east and Morgantown Road to the west. The plot has a considerable amount of road frontage along Olive Branch Road and extends all the way south to the former Walnut Ridge Golf Course, which is also for sale.
“The property is just not large enough to accommodate any long-range plans for future use,” said CGCSC Superintendent Rich Arkanoff. “It doesn’t make sense for the corporation to continue to own the property if it doesn’t fit into our future plans.”
The CGCSC Board of School Trustees voted October 3, 2013 to approve the sale. Sealed bids will be accepted until April 23, 2014 when a public sale will take place. More information can be found on the corporation’s website at www.centergrove.k12.in.us/property.
