First CG Community Fair is a Hit!

Door prizes at Center Grove Community FairLong time Center Grove business Greene’s Auto Service hosted the first “Center Grove Community Fair” Saturday, October 20. Local resident Steve Ottney and his family own Greene’s. They created the event to highlight local businesses and provide free fun for area families. The event, put together in just a few weeks, attracted more than 200 residents.

Families enjoyed free food, live music, a bounce house and the chance to win prizes from local businesses. An adult and child winner was chosen every 15 minutes. Steve Jr., who along with his dad and family operates the business, is already thinking about how to grow the event for next year.

Kids loved the bounce house and are always attracted by a video camera.

Hot Rod Worship, a band that owner Steve Ottney is a member, performed throughout the day. The first clip is their music with pictures from the event, and the second clip is the band performing.
