The branch’s homegrown team has the advantage of being familiar with the Greenwood area. “All of our loan officers live in or around Greenwood,” says branch manager Mack Howell (Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System No. 362121). “This is our community, and this is where our kids go to school. We really understand the people here and their environment.”

The team didn’t have furniture for the first few weeks after opening, so everyone improvised. “We all worked out of lawn chairs in one room,” says Howell with a chuckle.
