Sen. Rodric Bray Named to GOPAC’s National Emerging Leaders Class

MARTINSVILLE, IND. (March 16, 2014)—State Sen. Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) was recently selected as an Emerging Leader by GOPAC and will participate in a nationally recognized political leadership program for his potential to impact the state legislature and Indiana’s Republican Party.

Members of GOPAC’s Legislative Leaders Advisory Board, including State Sen. Brandt Hershman (R-Buck Creek), nominated lawmakers from various states who champion conservative policies that create jobs and increase government efficiency to provide necessary services for taxpayers. Bray is one of only 21 legislators selected to the 2014 class.

I am honored to be selected as part of GOPAC’s Emerging Leaders program and look forward to listening and learning from legislators who represent Americans from all walks of life,” Bray said. “I will use this opportunity to guide me as a policymaker and political leader, and I will not hesitate to share positive highlights from the Hoosier state.”

GOPAC assists program participants in leadership training, policy seminars and interactive discussions at its annual Emerging Leaders Summit, to be held later this year.

Bray, who earned his J.D. from Valparaiso University, is a practicing attorney. He serves on the Home Bank Board of Directors, volunteers with the local YMCA and resides in Martinsville with his wife, Kelly, and their two sons, Austin and Ethan.
