A Fishers resident didn’t make it to the final round of Jeopardy but did win some big bucks on the game show earlier this summer!
“I was just glad to be a part of it all,” says Sawyer. “It’s a fun game, and I really enjoyed it.”
Sawyer Morgan, 22, won the competition July 7 on Jeopardy and pocketed $11,590.
Morgan graduated from Purdue University in May with a degree in chemical engineering and will be attending the University of Washington this fall to work on his doctorate in chemical engineering.
He says he passed Jeopardy’s online test last January and was invited to Chicago in February for an interview and more tests.
Morgan says he had some great prep work by being a part of WTHR’s Brain Game in 2010 where he competed with Hamilton Southeastern Schools.
His final appearance on Jeopardy was Wednesday, July 15. Congratulations to Sawyer!
