Brixx Wood Fired Pizza has recently opened in downtown Fishers. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, this franchise represents the first of its kind to open in the Midwest.

“We’re not your typical pepperoni/cheese pizza joint,” says Mike Sosman, head chef and manager at Brixx Wood Fired Pizza. “We specialize in gourmet pizzas, pastas, salads and sandwiches using fresh ingredients, and our focaccia and pizza doughs are homemade….The wood flavored oven gives off a smoked aroma that is light, not overpowering, and yet makes us unique.”

Come taste the bruschetta tomato appetizer made with homemade mozzarella cheese as you sip on a martini or cocktail. Choose from 24 local craft beers or 14 wines by the glass to complement your favorite wood fired pizza like the buffalo chicken or spicy shrimp. Whether you’re in the mood for a pasta dish such as the Heavenly Chicken Bacon Alfredo or the lighter fare of a fresh salad or wrap, you will find nothing other than fresh food with attention to detail.

If you’re craving something not seen on the menu, then the chef will personally come by and visit your table to hear your wishes and prepare your meal according to your preferences.

“You can get pampered by the chef without even knowing who he is,” says Mike. “Our restaurant is distinctive in that we are sensitive to people with allergies and those who request vegan and/or gluten free menu items.”

In fact, gluten free pizzas are prepared on separate surfaces from those containing wheat. The gluten free crust contains rice and quinoa.

You may have seen people dining alfresco on the quaint patio facing the chic Liberty Plaza fountain. Brixx is located in the Depot at Nickel Plate amid the newly built luxury apartments.

This convenient location allows for people to explore the new Liberty Plaza or stroll over to the Fishers Summer Concert Series that takes place weekly on the lawn outside Town Hall (fishers-indiana.funcityfinder.com/fishers-summer-concert-series-fishers-indiana)

Whenever there is a concert in the park, Brixx offers free appetizers with the order of a pizza between 5-7 p.m. Also Brixx offers “buy one pizza, get one free” on Tuesdays and Fridays after 9 p.m. and “buy one, get one free” appetizers and pizzas every day after 10 p.m.

Parking is available on either side of Brixx and also on the first two floors of the parking garage next door. Another parking garage across the street is opening soon.

Brixx provides catering for private parties or business functions ranging from casual to elegant.

Hours are Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-1 a.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
