Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales to Visit Indiana to Recognize Anderson-Based Terrance A. Smith Distributing
Officials from Anheuser-Busch announced at their annual spring Wholesaler Excellence Meeting in Las Vegas that Terrance A. Smith Distributing has earned the Ambassador of Excellence Award, and as part of the award receives a commemorative Clydesdale trophy to be personally delivered by the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales during the third week of July. Details around their trip from Grant’s Farm in St. Louis have not yet been disclosed.
“This is a great honor and achievement for our entire team,” said Terrance Smith, Sr., President and CEO of Terrance A. Smith Distributing. “We owe a great deal of credit to our customers, employees and partnering community organizations for helping us to achieve this honor.”
The Ambassador of Excellence program recognizes Anheuser-Busch distributors nationwide that perform at the highest level of sales execution, customer service, community involvement, environmental consciousness, and engage in responsible drinking programs. Terrance A. Smith Distributing has earned the Ambassador of Excellence distinction for three straight years, earning it the highest honor as the recipient of the “Big Jake” award. Terrance A. Smith Distributing is among twenty Wholesalers in the nation to have achieved this award.
“This award comes from the attitude of determination and the desire to succeed that our employees live every day,” Smith said.
The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, are scheduled to make several appearances in late May.
