Pizza King Celebrates Grand Opening of New Geist & Fishers Location

Austin Prather, assistant director of marketing for Pizza King, knows Geist and Fishers residents are excited about the opening of the newest location.
The new restaurant officially opened in October.
“Our new location is located at 11228 Fall Creek Road, Indianapolis, right next to the 3 Sails Sculpture and Roundabout,” Prather says. “Our ownership group is made up of several families that own and operate 48 Pizza King locations across East Central Indiana. We have locations in cities such as Muncie, Noblesville, Anderson, Richmond and Fort Wayne. There are other Pizza King chains on the western half of the state that aren’t associated with our stores.
The new northside location offers a design unlike other Pizza King locations.
“This location is one of the most modern and unique store designs in our entire company,” Prather says. “We wanted to give the community a dining room as beautiful as the community itself. The store features exposed ductwork, black ceilings and an attached patio for outdoor dining. We also wanted to commemorate how we’ve grown through the years by displaying custom artwork about our history and brand throughout the store.”
Prather adds that there has been a lot of community excitement about the new Pizza King.
“We have been blown away by the overwhelmingly positive public response to the news of this new store,” he says. “We’ve had numerous residents leave us messages about how they got hooked on Pizza King during their time at Ball State University in Muncie. Many of these graduates have moved to this area now, and they are ecstatic to have a pizza brand they love within such close proximity. We are looking forward to becoming an active member of this community through sponsorships and other forms of community outreach as well.”
The menu at the new Pizza King will feature well-known pizzas and other delicious options.
“We are best known for our ‘Feast’ specialty pizzas,” Prather says. “Our traditional pizzas come with a thin, crispy crust. We also have a thicker, pan crust option as well. For those that want something other than pizza, we have plenty of other menu options to choose from. We have a wide variety of submarines, pastas, breadsticks, wrap-ups and salads. Our dill butter brushed ‘bread stix’ are also a fan favorite.”
Some of the Pizza King customer favorites will include their Royal Feast pizza, which has been the most popular menu item for decades.
“It features a special blend of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions and red and green peppers atop a crispy crust,” Prather says. “Customers also love our bread stix, which come lightly brushed with dill butter and are served with nacho cheese or your choice of sauce.”
Prather has his own favorites.
“I love everything on the menu, but the Royal Feast continues to be my go-to pizza,” he says.

Prather adds that, “Over the last 60 years, our overarching goal has been to serve the highest quality products with fast, friendly service. Every time a customer decides to ‘Ring the King,’ we want to ensure that they are happy with the food and service they receive. This continues to be our goal as we grow and expand over time.”
Prather and the Pizza King staff are thrilled about being in the Geist and Fishers area.
“We just want the community to know how excited we are to be opening a location here,” Prather says. “We want to make sure every customer is taken care of and satisfied when they order from us.
