HSEHS teacher honored with IBEA Emerging Professional Award

astumpflargefile.JPGHSE High School teacher Anna Stumpf received the Indiana Business Education Association’s (IBEA) Emerging Professional Award for 2007 at the group’s Indiana Business, Marketing and IT Professional Development Conference November 9.

“She is a teacher that comes to mind when we need someone to go ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty,” said HSEHS Director of Guidance Nancy Herndon. “This year she was placed in charge of our freshmen mentor program. Anna’s work on this program has been truly a model for the rest of our faculty to follow in terms of dedication and work beyond what is required of her.”

Principal Jon Milleman describes her passion, “There are no second-class citizens in Anna Stumpf’s classroom. Her students do well because they don’t want to disappoint her. This means that her caring attitude is transferred to her students.”
