Our Holy Trinity parish began with only a handful of families in 1910. Today, we have grown to over 2000 members. Our membership is diverse--one needn't be Greek to become Orthodox. Our Annual Greek Festival introduces thousands of visitors to the Faith each year.
Holy Trinity is a parish of the
Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and
Metropolis of Detroit. From very humble beginnings in 1910, we have grown to over 2000 active members today. This is due in part, to generations of Greek Orthodox establishing Indianapolis as their home. But mostly, our growth is the result of more than ten decades of active outreach to both non-Orthodox and non-Christian members of our greater Indianapolis community.
Our parish is very grateful to have maintained vibrant and progressive ministries such as our Church School, Greek School, teen group (GOYA), adult study groups, catechetical seminars, and last but not least, our Philoptochos (friends of the poor) Society.
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Indianapolis was incorporated in 1910 and was located at 231 North West Street from 1919-1959; at 4011 North Pennsylvania Street from 1960-2008; and has been in its present location in Carmel since Christmas Eve 2008.
Burgeoning growth and a desire to always look to the future prompted Holy Trinity to move to a beautiful new Byzantine temple at the northeast corner of 106th Street and Shelborne Road for the purposes of expanding our ministries and nourishing generations to come in the ways of the Orthodox Faith.

To all of our guests,
On behalf of the entire Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox parish, a huge THANKS for the overwhelming success of the first GreekFest in Carmel.
We were humbled by the enormous crowds and welcoming attitude of our new neighbors and everyone else in attendance. While we have 36 years of Greek Fest traditions, we are pleased to be creating new ones at our new home in Carmel. We'll work hard to continually improve our Festival and we look forward to seeing all of you next year at Greek Fest 2010! Always scheduled for the weekend after Labor Day, mark your calendars now so you won’t miss it!
We'll see you then!
Opa!
