Lawsuit against Town of Fishers to become a City

The Town of Fishers is doing everything it can to keep Scott Faultless in power. A group of three, including myself, have filed suit against Fishers to give the citizens the right to vote to determine should Fishers become a City or remain a Town. Instead of just putting this on the ballot they have developed a fake city and want to have it on the ballot. Tom Britt has completed an interview with our attorney that does a great job of explaining this, please take a few minutes to watch. Here is…See More

Our State Senators wasting your tax dollars

Today I got a postcard form Indiana State Senator Jim Merritt. Pretty nice card with a picture of his family, what his duties are and that he has a new district. What he forgot to say was he sent this card at taxpayer expense and it is a total waste of taxpayer money. In fact it should be considered a political advertisement. So we have a State Senator using taxpayer money to get re-elected. I am sure they all do this in the Indiana Senate and House, both parties. Maybe it is time to stop this…See More

Campaigning Door to door

Going door to door is a lot of work and fun in a political campaign. You get to meet people and I was having a ball doing just that the problem is you can’t meet everyone. Here are comments from my rounds, some are fun, some are sad, some the insightful, some are plain dumb. You be the judge of each one. 1. Oh my a Democrat, I can’t believe it, I can’t say I am a Democrat in this neighborhood I will be voting for you. 2. I would love to vote for you but I am kind of restricted these days. (I…See More

Election Day Tuesday November 8th - Vote for Joe

What is the candidate and current officer holder for Fishers Clerk Treasurer hiding? Two debates were held this year, one for the primary and one for the current election. In both cases only one candidate for any Fishers office failed to show up. It was the same person both times the current Fishers Clerk Treasurer.  Was she afraid someone was going to ask how come the numbers don’t add up in the Town Financial Report? Was she afraid someone was going ask if Mr. Walter Kelly who donated $5000…See More

Unethical for certain.

The Town of Fishers Clerk Treasurer via The Future of Fishers Political Action Committee received a contribution of $12,000.00 but if you study the PAC you will find that Mr. Walter Kelly contributed $5,000 to this PAC. Why is this significant because Mr. Kelly is a principle in an Accounting firm that does the work for Ms. Cordell's office. In speaking to a few retired CPAs in the area they all recommended hiring a new CPA firm as they find this highly unethical. Any CPA firm should be at an…See More

Debating a ghost - November 8th election

The League of Women Voters held a debate on October 4, 2011 at Fishers Town Hall and I want to thank them for the opportunity to present my platform for modernization and operation of the Fishers Clerk Treasurer’s office. There was one major problem at this debate, I was debating a ghost, my opponent didn’t show up maybe she was hiding in her office down the hall. You know the door with the sign hanging in a plastic folder “Exact change only.”  Very professional looking. Debating a ghost fits…See More
