Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will host the Pawn Stars Gold & Silver Road Show Saturday, September 11, 2010. The all-day event will provide opportunities for guests to meet the cast of the hit reality TV series in person and have their treasure appraised and purchased.
The Pawn Stars reality TV show is the History Channel’s highest-rated series, averaging four million viewers an episode. Pawn Stars give the viewer a glimpse into the world of the pawn business through the day-to-day operations of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. Richard, the patriarch, son Rick, grandson Corey, and family friend Austin ‘Chumlee,’ jointly run the business with the typical mischief one would expect from a group deemed the bad boys of pawn. The four men use their sharp eyes and skills to assess the value of items from the commonplace to the historic.
“Hoosier Park is excited to welcome one of TV’s top-rated shows and is prepared for a packed house.” said Jahnae Erpenbach, Hoosier Park’s Vice President of Marketing. “For spectators and sellers alike, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
Seller stage passes can be purchased for $19.95 and spectator tickets can be purchased starting at $14.95. The Seller stage pass will allow guests to present their items to the Pawn Stars cast for appraisal and potential purchase. The spectator ticket allows guests to watch the show in its entirety from the spectator seating section. Tickets can be purchased at Shelby’s Gift Shop located at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino or by calling 1-800-526-7223.
The Gold & Silver Road show will take place from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in The Yard, an outside concert and event venue. Starting at 8:30 pm, the Pawn Stars will be making celebrity guest appearances, playing at the electronic blackjack and roulette machines alongside customers in the casino.
