Lawrence VFW Post 261 announces capital campaign Renovation 2011

VFW Post 261 members invite business and community members to the post to kick‐off Renovation 2011, a campaign designed to update and improve the existing facility on Pendleton Pike. “As the Lawrence community continues to upgrade and update Pendleton Pike, it’s time for our building to receive upgrades, updates and a facelift,” says Commander Bruce Swenson. “Our post has remained mostly unchanged since it was built in 1974. As we support soldiers and families returning home from duty, we want to have a safe, well‐designed and deserved facility for those who serve our country. We need the support of the community to make that happen.”
