Brandon Perillo, co-owner and general manager of Rosati’s Pizza, a brand new pizza restaurant at 890 E. 116th Street in Carmel, says he has has been thrilled with the new location.

“We chose Carmel because it has been ranked one of the best places to live in the U.S.,” Perillo says. “Carmel has so much to offer its residents, such as great housing, top school districts and a thriving job market.”

Perillo says that Rosati’s is a Chicago-based franchise with approximately 200 restaurants across the United States.

“We have been operating for more than 50 years,” Perillo says.

In those five decades, Rosati’s has had a strong reputation for excellence.

“Rosati’s is family-owned, with a long history of experience in the restaurant business,” Perillo adds. “We keep it real with fresh ingredients and by using recipes passed down through generations.”

Those recipes have already been popular with Carmel residents.

“We have received an overwhelming amount of positive responses from the residents of Carmel,” Perillo says. “We are looking forward to being a part of this wonderful community.”

Rosati’s guests already have their favorites.

“One of the most popular items on our menu is our authentic Chicago deep dish pizza,” Perillo says. “It is made with fresh ingredients, topped with our homemade pizza sauce and layered with cheese and toppings of your choice. It is delicious.”

Rosati’s also has an excellent thin crust pizza, Double Dough, which is twice as thick with a unique hand-rolled edge and a Stuffed Pizza. Gluten-Free Crust is also available with a 12-inch pizza.

“My personal favorite is the BBQ special,” Perillo says. “It has an old western blend of sausage, onion, bacon and a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.”

Rosati’s other pizzas include The Heavyweight, with extra sausage, extra pepperoni and extra cheese, the Pepperoni Supreme, a mouth-watering symphony of pepperoni, mushroom, onion and green pepper, and the Chicken Delight, a Rosati’s creation with olive oil, chicken breast, fresh garlic and tomato. These are just a few of the many choices available.

“Some of our other more popular menu items are the Rosati’s Cheef sandwich which is Italian beef and mozzarella on French bread, our Penne Broccoli, which is penne noodles, broccoli, Italian seasoning, garlic and olive oil and our chopped salad,” Perillo says.

Pastas include Chicken Parmigiana, Mostaccioli and Penne Alla Rosati, with Penne noodles, Parmesan, diced chicken and Alfredo sauce, among others.

Rosati’s also features an Italian Beef Sandwich, a “Crosstown Classic Combo” Sandwich with a sausage link, Italian Beef and French Bread, an excellent Meatball Sandwich and a delicious Grilled Chicken Sandwich, among other sandwich selections.

Desserts include Tiramisu, Doug Nuggets, Cannoli and Cinnamon Sticks.

“I personally love our chicken wings served with our homemade ranch dressing,” Perillo says. “My other favorite is the Rosati’s sub sandwich.”

Perillo looks forward to meeting new friends at Rosati’s in Carmel.

“Carmel reminds me of my hometown,” Perillo says. “It is very family oriented and peaceful. Everyone I have encountered has been very friendly and welcoming. I look forward to building a future here in Carmel.”
