Brand it Blue and Fight Hunger
Express Employment Professionals Sponsors Brand It Blue Day and Food Drive through June 8th to Help Fight Hunger
A company built on hope and known for helping as many people as possible find good jobs, Express Employment Professionals is on a mission to put a million people to work annually.
And while the largest privately-held staffing company in North America is busy matching job seekers with employers, the company is also running a food drive for the local community known as “Brand It Blue Day.”
On Saturday, June 8, Express Employment Professionals of Greenwood will partner with the Center Grove Lassie League and Mt. Pleasant Christian Church to help fight hunger – a growing epidemic that impacts millions of people in the U.S., Canada and around the world every day.
“Brand It Blue Day is a day each Express franchise can come together for one great cause to help the community,” Mike Heffner, Owner of the local Greenwood franchise, said. “In celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary, Brand It Blue Day is a chance for Express offices to honor the communities that have supported us through the years by giving back.”
Now through June 8, Express will host a food drive at its office, located at 707 S. Madison Ave., Greenwood, IN 46143, where you can drop off non-perishable food items. You can also visit us at the Center Grove Lassie League on Wednesday June 5th from 6pm-9pm or Saturday June 8th from 8am to Noon to drop off your items.
Express is partnering with The Living Bread food pantry of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church. They are gathering items for the summer time. Their most needed items are: peanut butter, canned tuna/chicken/vegetables, macaroni and cheese, cereal, soup, spaghetti/ravioli and personal hygiene products.
Express Employment Professionals provides professional staffing, temp jobs, and HR Services.
