CG School Board Candidate Forum Video

The three candidates for the two positions on the Center Grove School Board met in a public forum Monday evening. The forum was hosted by the Center Grove Education Foundation and the Teachers Association of Center Grove. About 150 were in attendance, at least for the first hour. A large number of students left after an hour. Evidently their assignment only required attendance for the first hour of the event.

The candidates, Matt Prusiecki, Carol Tumey, and Rob Richards, discussed a number of issues but displayed no major differences of opinion. Richards responded to a question about Prusiecki’s job as Superintendent of the Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson United School Corporation stating he felt it was a conflict of interest. Tumey, seeking her second term on the board, had no comment on the issue.
