Christmas Angels program in need of sponsors

ChristmasGiftsChristmas Angels, a program of United Way of Johnson County, is in need of individuals and organizations who would like to sponsor families who cannot provide Christmas gifts to their children.

Christmas Angels is designed to provide gifts for Johnson County children, newborn to 17 years old, which would otherwise not have Christmas gifts.

Sponsors can be individuals, civic groups, churches, families or any other company or organization wanting to help families in need. Sponsors can decide how many families they would like to help and how many children they are able to sponsor in each family.

United Way of Johnson County is a local organization directed and operated by a volunteer board of directors who live or work in Johnson County. The mission of United Way of Johnson County is “to organize caring people to identify and meet human needs in our community.” The organization is responsible for evaluating the needs of the community, raising money and allocating those funds appropriately in order to meet the needs of Johnson County residents.
