Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox wants you to be on the lookout for a 49 year old black male named Balagoon Sankofa. Sankofa is wanted for murder of a victim in Indianapolis; he is suspected of shooting three others, and setting a house on fire. In addition, Sankofa is now also wanted for an Armed Robbery which occurred in Columbus, Indiana. Having committed crimes in both Marion and Bartholomew Counties, Sankofa is believed to be at least passing through Johnson County. He is reportedly operating a dark colored 4-door sedan, possibly a Mazda 626 type vehicle. There was an unconfirmed sighting of this suspect behind the Wal-Mart store in Franklin earlier this morning. Citizens who believe they know the whereabouts of this Murder suspect should absolutely not approach him, as he is known to be armed and dangerous.
