Memory Ventures and Ultra Steak to Soon Call Fishers Home
State and Fishers officials, along with the Economic Development Corporation, announced on Dec. 18 that the California-based Memory Ventures would relocate to the Nickel Plate District.
“Memory Ventures moving from California to Fishers is very exciting for our community,” said Mayor-elect Scott Fadness. “The entrepreneurial culture we’ve cultivated in Fishers is getting noticed and we are attracting smart, established businesses that want to be a part of it.”
The company plans to bring 134 jobs to Fishers and will be located in the new Meyer Najem building, located at 11787 Lantern Road.
Memory Ventures will call 2,657 square of the second floor home and will only relocate 22 full-time jobs. The other 112 full-time positions are expected to be in Fishers by 2018.
“We are incredibly excited to be relocating our headquarters to Fishers and look forward to becoming an active participant in the growing entrepreneurial community here,” said Memory Ventures CEO Anderson Schoenrock. “I am extremely optimistic about the amazing things Memory Ventures plans to accomplish is Fishers.”
Memory Ventures is the parent company for nine different direct consumer online brands. The brands provide digital conversation services, reel-to-reel film and video cassettes to digital format. The company also sells home décor such as peel-n-stick wall murals.
The former Meyer Najem building, near 131st Street and State Road 37, will soon be occupied by Ultra Steak Inc. The company, currently located in Anderson, provides support services to regional and national franchise restaurants. Ultra Steak will move at the beginning of February.
“We look forward to growing with the new City of Fishers,” said Ultra Steak Inc. President, Joel Ross. “It is exciting to be in a city that promotes jobs and growth.”
