The Lawrence mayor’s office has set Wednesday, 1:30p.m. as the date to reveal the name of land that’s being re-purposed as a new civic green space. The wetlands park is part of Monarch Beverage Company’s land along Pendleton Pike. The mayor’s office indicates that the park’s name will honor a Lawrence family. Stay tuned — Lawrence Community Newsletter will be in attendance, and we’ll have the story and photos some time Wednesday afternoon.
