Northwoods at Geist resident Elli Baker’s goal is to help you free yourself from disorder, build-up and chaos in your environment. Baker’s business is called Jane of All Trades. Her methodical, non-judgemental, confidential approach to assessing, organizing and purging will help you gain greater control over life’s endless stream of information, details and stuff.
In de-cluttering for clients, she explained that she collects their castoffs for the less fortunate. Baker donates discarded items to various charities and food pantries as a regular business practice. She even returns the donation receipts to the client for tax purposes! Often items go to Goodwill, and professional women’s attire goes to Dress for Success (317-940-3737 or email indianapolis@dressforsuccess.org), where she also volunteers sorting and organizing donated items for their shop.
Whether your clutter is at home or the office, personal or professional, new or old, Elli will help set you free from what is unnecessarily holding you back or just simply driving you crazy. Baker explained she listens and works with each client to design a workable system that keeps working. Her 2-year-old business specializes in clients with Attention Deficit Disorder, the chronically disorganized (my husband would diagnose me with this one!) and the elderly. In providing these valuable service she is assisted by her daughter, Erin Coughlin.
