Fishers to offer rides home on New Years – well …

Yes, but only if you are a Fishers important person, they will the police drive you home. Can’t have any important people in Fishers arrested of a DUI. That is reserved for the common rest of us.

But please don’t blame the police, they are just following policy and where does policy come from, the top and who is the top, why Fishers Town Council of course.

Now of those of you that have been asleep at the wheel here is the scoop. Fishers High School Principal Scott Syverson was stopped by a Fishers police officer and instead of being arrested he was driven home and then his wife was driven back to the parked car to take it home. Great Service. In fact I think they should do this more often, instead of filling up the jails, take them home and then turn the police report over to the processors to file charges later. The town could save a bundle by doing this. But lets do it for all the town drunks and not just those in positions of power and public trust.

I wonder if Scott will be allowed to play in HSE SPORTS next year? Even more so I wonder if Scott will have his contract renewed for next year or even next week. Not a good example for our youth.

Oh by the way – I just got word – that the police will not be offering this free service, new years eve. Ss here are a few very important phone numbers to keep handy. In fact you may want to print these out and Scotch tape them to your dashboard. Remember don’t drink and drive and if you do drink, use your phone and call:
