[kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/La_5qkAHf18" width="300" height="250" wmode="transparent" /]Hamilton Southeastern High School meets McCutcheon High School in its homecoming football game Friday night and is celebrating with a week of spirit activities following a “Hollywood Royalty” theme. For the student body and staff, Monday was Crazy Hat Day, Tuesday – Super Hero Day, Wednesday – Disney Day, Thursday – Hollywood Glam and Bling Day and Friday – Red, White and Blue Day.
Other activities include a dodge ball tournament in the main gym at 7 p.m. Tuesday with proceeds going to “Adopt a Family” and a power puff football game Thursday on the football field at 7 p.m. All other proceeds from Student Counci-sponsored activities go to Children’s Cancer Research. In addition, Wednesday has a bonfire from 7:30-9:30 p.m. near the south end of the football field with a movie running on the south side of the tennis courts. A pep session on Friday at 2:10 p.m. in the football stadium will include a chariot race, tug of war, pie-eating contest and performances by the cheerleaders and dance team. The King and Queen will be crowned at half-time of the game, and the Homecoming Dance is Saturday in the Cafeteria from 8 – 11 p.m.
SEHS’s Royal Pride PTO Homecoming Pre-Game Dinner is Friday, October 12, from 5 p.m. until game time. Families can enjoy steak, chicken or hot dog dinners. The steak or chicken meal, grilled by HSE FFA, includes a choice of an 8 oz. rib eye steak or two-4 oz. chicken breasts, bun, baked potato or macaroni and cheese, lettuce salad or applesauce, green beans, dessert and a soda for $10 each. A hotdog meal includes chips, applesauce, choice of side item and a soda for just $4. Face painting is available for kids.
