The Hamilton County Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 4416 (Cicero, Fishers, Noblesville, and Westfield) is hosting a Motorcycle Poker Ride and Tent Party on September 1, 2007 to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Ride will start at Westfield Fire Department Station 81, located at 17535 Dartown Road, Westfield. Registration starts at 9:00 am with the first rider out at 10:00 am. The ride will be about 130 miles with five other stops that include refreshments and lunch, with the ride ending at C. R. Hero’s at 10570 E. 96th Street in Fishers for the Tent Party.
Members of the community are invited to participate and help raise money for Jerry’s Kids.
Even if you aren’t a motorcycle rider, the Tent Party is open to everyone beginning at 4:00 pm, and will feature food, live music, a silent auction, activities for kids, and a raffle. Some of the silent auction and raffle items include gift certificates for area restaurants, car care packages, sports memorabilia, concert tickets, movie passes, health and relaxation gift packages, houseware items and more.
The “Aberdeen Project”, will perform popular tunes with funk and R&B flavors live under the tent from 6pm until 11pm. The Tent Party is for all ages with a $5 donation to MDA at the door (under age 10 entry is free).
All net proceeds from the event will benefit nearly 100 MDA patients in Hamilton County.
Local 4416 would like to thank all of our citizens and our business community for their continued generosity in our fight to cure neuromuscular diseases.
