The Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force arrested Royce D. Moody on Wednesday, September 5, 2006 and charged him with multiple counts of child exploitation (possession of child pornography). The arrest was a result of a search warrant issued for Moody’s residence. The search warrant was issued as a result of information developed by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force as well as information developed by the Indiana State Police and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Members of the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force executed the search warrant at Moody’s residence in Noblesville, Indiana. During the execution of the search warrant detectives were able to seize multiple computers. Upon previewing the computer hard drives, detectives located evidence of child pornography videos. Detectives believe these videos were downloaded from the internet.
Royce Moody was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
