A group of Fishers Elementary students volunteered after-school for eight weeks to complete 51 blankets for children in need. The blankets made from fleece fabric were donated to the Hamilton County Chapter of Project Linus, which will deliver them to the Dawn Project and St. Vincent ’s Children’s Hospital.
“We would like to thank all the staff and families at Fishers Elementary School for their generous donations of money, fleece material and volunteered time in helping to make the blankets,” said third grade teacher Meghan Trees. For more information about Project Linus, go to www.projectlinus.org.
