With summer around the corner, it is time to think of the dreadful swimsuit. If you, like many of us, have not been preparing for the warmer weather, don’t worry. 7e Fit Spa has a safe, effective and painless way to get your body in tip-top shape!

While the term “spa” usually means pampering, 7e Fit Spa offers a different range of services. It is a program that focuses on anti-aging and non-invasive treatments designed to give healthy lifestyles a boost.

“We are trying to do more preventative and corrective type treatments,” said Lizzy Horenkamp, 7e Fit Spa consultant. “We try to help those who have wrinkles and are trying to lessen or get rid of them. And, as far as the body treatments, we try to help boost the routines of individuals who are trying to lose those tough inches and may not be doing so well with exercising.”

The body contouring services offered at 7e Fit Spa utilize a FDA-approved and patented machine, called the Torc Plus, that uses electrodes to contract the muscles and essentially convert fat to muscle. Clients may receive 30 minute Torc treatments on selected areas, including the abdomen, thighs and arms, Horenkamp says.

“It’s like doing exercise without actually having to do it,” Horenkamp said. “Your brain understands the difference between an abdominal crunch or a lunge compared to the muscle contraction. So what we’re doing is tricking it to think you’re working at it so you get the same type of results.”

If you’re wondering what the process might feel like, Horenkamp says clients often equate it to getting a massage.

The treatments are different from wraps, which pulls water weight from the body, giving instant results. Body contouring is a slow process but helps muscles burn fat so that it stays off.

“It’s a cumulative type of treatment,” Horenkamp said. “You’re going to see better benefits with the more you do.”

To see even better results, change to a healthier lifestyle like adding vitamins and supplements. It is also suggested that clients allow their muscles 24 – 48 hours to repair, so three sessions a week for a certain area is suggested until the client has reached their goal result. After that, one treatment a month is suggested to maintain results.

7e Fit Spa also offers facials, chemical peels, and infrared sauna! Go to 7efitspa.com for more information.
