Imitation is the highest compliment. At least that’s how Riverside School students and staff honored their departing Principal Michael Beresford Friday by dressing just like him. That meant that many donned sweater vests over dress shirts and ties.
Mattie Mitchel took it a step or two further. He had his father give him a “Mr. Beresford” haircut and created an ID badge with his principal’s photocopied image on it. Beresford, principal of Riverside since its opening two years ago, will be supervisor of student services at the Administration Center next year.
