When a customer contacts ONiT, a dedicated scheduling coordinator finds out the details of the potential project. An estimator is then scheduled to meet with the client on site. From there a consultative approach is taken.  The estimator and customer identify what needs to be done and talk over the best solutions.

“During the estimation process, it’s a great time for questions and explanations of what possible options there might be. By using an iPad, a free quote is given right then and also emailed to the customer,” Elliott says.

Within a couple of days, the customer is contacted to see if they have additional questions. When they are ready to proceed, the scheduler works with them to set a date for work to begin. A project manager is assigned to answer all questions and facilitate communication. At each point in the process, clients deal with people who serve specific roles in the company.

“We are very focused on the customer experience, not just the end result, but the process it took to get there,” Elliott says. “Whatever someone’s role is, that’s what they do for the business. The estimators find the best approach to a project, our project managers communicate and coordinate throughout the job, which leaves the painters to be able to just focus on painting.
