Celebrate the holiday season by strolling this unique historic neighborhood and touring the four homes that once belonged to military officers on Lawton Loop. Included in the tour is one of the former barracks buildings, now home to the new Merici Village apartments, owned by non-profit Village of Merici.
Each home has been beautifully renovated adding today’s amenities while keeping the charm and character of their turn of the century origins. Holiday decor will be featured, with music and complimentary drinks and hors d’oeurves at each of four destinations for your enjoyment.
The tour also includes scheduled performances at the Merici Village Apartments community room, including the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, Ballet Moisaicos, and the Lawrence Central Chamber Orchestra.
There will also be a wine-tasting area, outdoor hot chocolate station, gift shop with local art and handmade gifts and Santa Claus! As this year’s tour is spread out around the Loop, a free shuttle service is available.
