Assistant superintendent to be next leader of Washington Township Schools
A familiar face in Northside education has emerged as Washington Township Schools’ next leader. The Far-Northside district’s School Board named Nikki Woodson as its next superintendent Wednesday night. Woodson has served as the assistant superintendent for two years. Previously, she spent 14 years in neighboring Lawrence Township Schools, working her way from the classroom to administrative positions. “This is the first application I’ve made to be a superintendent candidate,” said Woodson, 36. “In my heart of hearts I believe in the programs we’re deploying for students.” You can read the full story here.
