Crestview students help break world record

Crestview Elementary School helped break a World Reading Record last December when 307 students participated in the reading of Charlotte’s Web as part of the Guiness Book of World Record’s “Most People Reading Aloud Simultaneously in Multiple Locations” event sponsored by Walden Media. Younger students had the passage read to them by teachers and volunteers, while older students read the selected passage on their own. In all, 223,363 readers from 2,451 locations worldwide participated in the record breaking event.
