Lawrence Central High School book drive
Beginning today and continuing throughout the month of May. Lawrence Central High School’s students and staff are embracing the LC Literacy Initiative to improve the reading comprehension and writing skills of all students. To support the LC Literacy Initiative in our classrooms, Lawrence Central has kicked off a Community Book Drive. Students, staff and community members are invited to donate books — fiction and nonfiction — of all reading levels from fourth grade through college. Lawrence Central’s aim is to have high quality books at all reading levels available for each classroom. Donate any books you no longer want at home and our staff, students and parents will sort them for our classrooms. There will be donation boxes at Lawrence Central at the main office and at Marsh Supermarkets in Lawrence Township throughout the month of May and at the Binford Farmer’s Market each Saturday through May 28! Clean off the bookshelves and donate to Lawrence Central!
