Lawrence North High School to Have Full Color Yearbook

The 2010 Lawrence North High School Lynx yearbook will have a new twist to it this year: COLOR. The 280-page yearbook will be printed in all-color, a first for the school.

“It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a long time,” said yearbook adviser Kathy Francis, “so we decided this was the year to try.” The all-color yearbook has been a trend over the past years, with more and more schools switching.

“We’ve held out due to cost but with advertisement sales and book sales, we think we can find a way,” said Francis. The Lynx has traditionally had 32 pages of color plus the senior section in color.

“We are so excited to be a part of this,” said yearbook editor Debbie Merle. “Our entire staff is ready.”

The cost of the yearbook will remain $55, with a $5 increase after November 1. Students can order their yearbook at school through a yearbook staffer, or by going to room 142.

Senior Memory Ads are now being accepted as well. Parents can submit photos, messages, etc. to their seniors to be printed in the yearbook. These will also be in color. Sizes range from an eighth of a page to a full page and prices are from $60 to $300. Photos and messages can be submitted via email or the yearbook staff will scan them. All photos will be returned.
