If you missed the public forum on Tuesday night at LC regarding the proposed school start times, plan to attend the second forum held by the School Board and Administration on Thursday, March 17 at Lawrence North High School from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
The proposed time change for the school day, beginning in the 2011-12 school year if approved:
Elementary:
Student Day 7:40 to 2:25 (6 hours, 45 minutes)*
Teacher Day 7:20 to 3:05 (7 hours, 45 minutes)
PLC* 2:35 to 3:05 (30 minutes)
Middle School:
Student Day: 8:40 to 3:35 (6 hours, 55 minutes)*
Teacher Day: 7:55 to 3:40 (7 hours, 45 minutes)
PLC* 8:00 to 8:30 (30 minutes)
High School:
Student Day: 8:45 to 3:33 (6 hours, 48 minutes)*
Teacher Day: 7:55 to 3:40 (7 hours, 45 minutes)
PLC* 8:00 to 8:30 (30 minutes)
*PLC = Professional Learning Communities (teacher professional development)
